What To Use Against Machamp

There is not such a matter equally optimal level to utilize max damage, because this depends on the defender. To respond your question information technology would exist level 40, but that's not the respond that you're looking for.

In full general, people look up the breakpoint for quick moves. In this instance that would be counter. I've searched the breakpoint level for the quick motility "counter" against the most common raid bosses where I would use a Machamp (fifteen attack Iv) for.

Lapras: 31
Snorlax: 37.5
Tyranitar: 36

Included the table for Machamp (assaulter) vs Tyranitar (raid dominate defender)

Thank you sir! Great response!

Well, if we're talking about the ideal level, then the Machamp definitely has to be completely maxed out to inflict maximum impairment.

Here's my take: I also have a perfect Machamp, and it's completely maxed out, too. Does wonders confronting top-tier defenders like Blissey and Snorlax, and has become a vital asset to my attacking lineup when I exercise Tyranitar, Snorlax, or Lapras raids. If you want to go the best outcome from your Machamp, make him your next project to work on. Meaning, collect enough stardust and candies that will allow yous to max out your Machamp to its fullest potential. If you lot utilise the IV estimator, and put in Machamp'due south stat info, information technology'll tell y'all how much stardust you need to get your Machamp from lvl 30 to lvl 39 (or lvl 40 if y'all want that extra impairment output). It'due south definitely worth the investment, cause yous'll exist using Machamp a lot! Hope this helped!

Right at present I accept the dust and candies to max it out. So far I haven't taken any Pokemon to level xl. I ordinarily just exercise 39. I recollect he is probably worth maxing though. It feels like I use him on every gym in my expanse multiple times per twenty-four hour period.

Consider this: My Machamp was the very offset mon I've ever maxed, and to this solar day is the 2nd. You lot'll use it more than anything else when taking down gyms.

Don't worry about breakpoints if you fight a lot of gyms - the breakpoints will be constantly changing as you fight different Blisseys that disuse anyways.

Dynamicpunch is one of the all-time accuse moves out in that location menses, being comparable to Shadow Brawl and falling simply shy of Wild Charge past a mere 0.10 seconds. Counter is besides ane of the best quick moves (if non the best), as it is even slightly superior to Shadow Claw when not considering dodging, and on par with or meliorate than Pound.

Taking it to 36 is optimal for resources if you're mainly using it for Tyranitar raids, every bit information technology also reaches Seize with teeth's lowest damage breakpoint at 35.5, and Fe Tail reaches it'south minimum damage long before that at 32.

Going from 36 to 39 costs 52k dust and 68 candies for +4 HP, +3 damage on your accuse move and a 1-iii reduction confronting Tyranitar's charge move which is a negligible increase.

If you don't have enough Machamps to last you through a Tyranitar raid and so I'd rather invest that into another Machamp. You tin can max out the perfect Machamp eventually, only do it when information technology makes a departure and when you have the actress resources.

Promise you don't heed me piggy-bankroll on your question but I also have a 100% Machamp and I was wondering the aforementioned thing.

My additional question is whether it's worth TMing from C/CC to C/DP. I have enough charge TMs to requite information technology a go and my personal feeling is that I prefer DP. I've been hesitating, however, considering some of my raiding buddies say CC is superior and so I was hoping for some expert advice.

In instance it matters, I'm interested in using it for both raids & gyms, but by and large the one-time.

Dynamic Punch is both stronger and more than flexible with its energy price. You can check the rankings here, or PoGoMoves.com, or at PokeBattler.com to verify.

Shut Combat is an okay move to have on a second or third Machamp (I have information technology on my third), just for your all-time Machamp that you power up the highest you really want Dynamic Punch. ...But that is coming from someone lucky enough to take hold of a raid 98% Machamp already with C/Dp. To balance that out though, I did have to use several Charge TMs to get Karate Chop/Dynamic Punch.

Cheers very much indeed for your answer. I was lucky enough to only demand i TM :)

Good choice, you won't regret information technology.

To me, while I can capeesh the answers, they're not that useful. To the OP, higher level = stronger Pokemon. This raid monster chart is only useful if raids is all y'all practise, and if they are to stay the same forever, which some players heedlessly believe they will and are spending fashion too many resources.
You lot desire the strongest? Ability it upward every bit loftier as it'll go, forget this BP stuff.

>which some players foolishly believe they will and are spending way too many resources

The whole point of finding breakpoints is to empathise when a ability upwards volition matter and to not waste stardust and candy when a power upwardly doesn't matter.

You're bold stats won't change, new Pokemon won't change the relevance, the attack powers won't change, and concentrated on specific raid bosses who will also change.
As well many variables to exist spending on something that will alter. I'k trying to await at the long-term.

I would max it out (meaning to L39, the L40 "trick" is bush-league league) and utilize it for every gym boxing.
